I'm Phoenix, a 13 year old who became an entrepreneur when my horse needed my help.

I started Phoenominal Equine Products when I was 12 years old. I know that sounds young, but I had a reason- to help my own horse after his Cushings diagnosis. Harris’ hooves had become brittle and flakey. I wanted to make a product that could help him grow a better quality hoof by moisturizing the periople (the origin of hoof growth) and making a healthier hoof wall from its origin. I hoped to sell a few to help pay for Harris’ vet and farrier bills. But then I realized something; I could make a difference to more horses by starting Phoenominal Equine Products.

So here we are!

All of my products are hand made in my kitchen. They are vegetarian formulas, which is in line with my personal beliefs.

I began by developing and selling 2 very successful and effective products for hooves:

Phenominal "Hoof Dressing" (moisturizing hoof dressing) and Phoenominal "Hoof Mist" (thrush and abscess spray).

I’ve expanded my interests into skin and coat health too! As anyone with horses knows, grooming is always important. Those of you with metabolic horses know how difficult it is to heal even the most minor scrapes and abrasions! My 2 grooming products were born from a need to care for Harris’ coat, skin and hair.

They are as follows:

Phoenominal “5-in-Wonder Spray” helps to moisturize skin, coats, manes and tails. It's soothing to itchy skin. Also gnats don't like the soothing scent, but horses and humans do!  It's a four season solution to many issues. I like to say "use it for all the reasons in all the seasons"

Phoenominal "Salve-ation" is a skin salve containing a power-packed blend of highly moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial ingredients for your horse. Use it for minor scrapes, rubs and skin abrasions. 

And finally, I made something just for my mom. It may have been a hint, or perhaps a not-so-subtle suggestion for her poor saddle. “The Balm” is a moisturizing and protective leather balm to help tack and leather goods handle life at the barn. It’s her absolute favourite, so I am making it available to everyone.
